Downshift caused the bent valve. I then got ALL valves replaced, AND the timming belt replaced at the same time. Car has 80K in miles. The compression test when the valves were bent showed #2 in the 140's. Now there all in the 190's. All plugs look good. If rings were bad, wouldnt the plugs show this?

I had nasty oil burning like what you are describing and my plugs were a little oily, but not liquid oil, but more of a crusty, sticky, burnt oil. They smelled a little like oil as well.
Bottom line is that the oil is going somewhere other than back in the pan. If it isn't leaking, you are burning it, and if you are burning it, there are two places it could be coming from...the head through the valves or the oil pan through the piston rings/ringlands.
Do that leakdown test to confirm where the oil is leaking into the combustion chamber from. My money is that it is coming up through the oil pan. A second opinion would help since the dealership doesn't sound like the most knowledgable people in this situation.
