I'm thinking about getting a PSP soon.

Would you OG's recomend getting a used PSP with 1.50 fw, or a new core system?

How much does the 1.5 hold you back on newer games that make you upgrade? I know there are programs that trick it into thinking it has a higher fw, but does that work for every newer game?
