so, i went against my own advice and picked up an iPod mini for my fiancee for her bday last june. now, less than a year later, the stupid thing is fucking up.

on a full battery, it'll play for a hour, give a low battery warning, and shut down.

it'll do this about three times, and then shut down for good. nice.

so i'll charge the thing for another 4 hours, and then the whole process repeats. :goodjob:

any of you ipod fanatics experience this shit? any solutions? or do i have to take it in the ass and buy a new battery. from what i hear, apple support will be completely useless, as i'll have to pay for service.
