Gear Speed sells the carbon-coated synchros separate from the synchro set (which includes: hub, sleeve, and a pair of brass synchro rings). You end up having to buy a synchro set ($165) and a set of carbon-coated synchros ($150). You can sell the brass synchro rings.

The long part number transfers over to a Honda part number, so you can buy it from a Honda dealership....sometimes at a lower cost than from an Acura dealership.
