It's easy if you know what you're doing. I use old head bolts to thread in the hub and then I pound it out with a BFH. On the car lathes are better if the rotor has enough material left to refinish it. It's better because the lathe is mounted to the vehicle and any inperfections in the wheel bearings/hubs will be there when the rotors are refinished so you won't notice any vibration later.
