i got a 95 ls integra b series hydraulic tranny.
theres grinding in 3rd gear and will not go in.
is it worth it to drop the trans, open it up and replace whatever is wrong,
or just swap in a used trans. i'm trying to find the cheapest option, but even so if i attempted to fix the trans myself i woudlnt even know where to start for buying parts, and which parts to replace.

is this a challenging task?

many have told me its not worth the agrivation and cost to fix the trans and just buy a used one to swap in

what should i do?
