and just a tip for you when dealing with insurance, if you put ANY money into your car for stuff like brakes, tires, stereo, etc give the receipts to your insurance company and they will compensate you accordingly. worked wonders for me with my gs-r i got an extra few hundred bucks for basic repairs i had made.
I have receipts from the radio..the install...but what sucks...is all the maintenance receipts for like oil changes and stuff are in the car.
Right now...i honestly hope they dont find the car because from my understanding...if they find it beat up...and it needs replacement parts and they total it then they are going to give me what it's worth minus how much damage was done...i might be wrong...but that's just the assumption i got. But right now KBB is 8k for my car. Im hoping i get a little more then that. I have the loan for 10k...been paying since november at 228. So 228 x 5 = 1140....so if push comes to shove...i'll prolly be out 560(the extra 500 comes from my 500 dollar deductable) Im hoping that is the case because i can live with 560 instead of 3k+
