Alignment/No mini-van for me!
I still haven't got any type of alarm system yet. I'm waiting to hear from my police officer sister for her input too.
I just got new tires and an alignment. Wow! I don't know how but I forgot how wonderfully my car can handle. (I guess it's been too long between alignments.) It feels new again. I guess even when things aren't right, a GSR still handles better than a lot of cars out there. Now it seems like I can just think something and the car responds. I love it!
Also, I kind of have always wanted a S2000 since they came out. The higher revving engine and how it handles really appeals to me. However, I think for an every-day driver sports car you can't beat a GSR ... even stock like mine. It's very reliable even with the 123,000 + miles I have on it, quick, handles great and is oh so fun to drive. Plus, I can fit my bicycle in the back without taking off any wheels. I can also put a lot of stuff in the back from groceries to luggage. Granted, it won't be the best car for when we have kids but I'll still put the car seat in the back. I figure we can have at least one child before we have to buy something else. I just don't want to have a mini-van. How could I get one of those once I've driven a GSR for 10 years???
Acura really had a winner with these cars. The new RSX appeals to me too, but I still like the look of the GSR a bit more. It's growing on me though. I do love not having a car payment. I'll probably drive this car until it can't be driven anymore. That could be a LONG time if I keep taking care of it. We'll trade in Kurt's 1996 Nissan Maxima when we have to get a new car. The Teggy stays forever!!
Take care,
Erika
