my buddy bought a couple beaters there for a good price (they needed some TLC but worked flawlessly for years)

86 Acura Integra with 175k miles on it for $200 but the headgasket was blown - we spent $400 to replace it ourselves and he put 80k on it in 2 years (he does a lot of driving) - he sold it for $500 and came out ahead (especially since his daily driver was a suburban that got 11mpg on a good day)

he also just bought an Acura RL that had 272k miles on it for $3,000 and it's in decent shape...engine had good compression and pulls strongly, the transmission shifts smoothly...it had a small oil leak from the oil pan gasket but that's an easy fix...but it has a dented passenger front door that we'll get a new one from a junk yard...it's also got the factory 6 disc changer in the trunk but was missing the cartridge
