With 119K on my 97 EX 5speed, I changed the MTF with factory Honda manual tranny fluid. After a few days, I noticed more and more, I was getting a 1st-2nd gear grind. I really wouldn't call it a grind, but more like an "unsmooth" engagement.
I did some research. Bought this stuff a day later:

Get 3 bottle's. Drain and fill. The tranny will shift better then the day the car was new. I swear it's a HUGE difference in shift quality and engagement. Do your own research if you don't belive me. The Pennzoil stuff is just rebaged GM Syncromesh fluid. Same exact ingredients, just 6 bucks less a quart. Your transmission capacity is 2.2L quarts I THINK. Good luck!
