OK... Need help with this one..
Got a '96 accord ex w/ 170K
Just recently got new cap, rotor, plugs, wires, fuel filter, oil change... 3 weeks ago!!!
EGR Valve was also replaced and ports cleaned about 2 months ago!
i live in buffalo, ny so its very cold here in the morning.. 20-30 degrees!
i have been having this ongoing problem starting the car... only for the first time of the day.. i go to crank it over and it doesnt fire up. try it a second time... money all the time! After the car is warm for the day, no more starting problems...
Once in awhile i go to start it and it will be like a half assed start, cuz it makes the engine misfire.
Ive had codes read... cyl 3 and 4 and random misfires.... this is BEFORE i replaced all the parts mentioned above.
Now, today i drove to work (9:30AM) car sat till lunch around (2:30PM)... go out to start my car and i get one of those half assed starts, and so the engine starts to misfire... car is shaking, but i KNOW THIS TIME that its misfiring...(NO CEL LIGHT) so i didnt drive anywhere, just kinda let it work itself out... and after about 10 minutes it resumes normal firing, rpms go back up and everything is fine. NOW i didnt get a CEL because i didnt drive it, it only misfired for about 10 mins, then stopped.....
WTF can i do... ive replaced everything i can think of??? HELP!
