It's an online app. You set up your Auction Sniper account login and password to be the same as your E-bay info.
You can set max bid, and most importantly lead time. You can have it drop a bid for you at the last 3 seconds of an auction. Works like gang-busters.

I haven't paid for a snipe yet. After the free ones, they charge. They have a set pricing schedule on their site. It's nothing outrageous.
