Well, as all of you skunk2 IM owners know, theres that little tiny y'ed out coolant pipe that comes out of the manifold. at first glance, you said, WTF do i do with this?!??! well, heres my ranting:
after using a bolt, with claps, and a vaccum cap, i have been agitated with this crap. i know that its there b/c of some ITR part oil cooler where that goes, but my question is, WHY DOESNT SKUNK2 NOTATE THAT IN THE PAPERWORK. they sure know how to charge u $200 for a overpriced part with half assed instructions. why couldnt skunk2 send out a spcfic cap made to take care of that little pipe.
well after ranting around my garage about how much id rather be sitting on my lazy ass then working on a miniscule little pipe and stopping it from leaking. i sat down and reasearched. after searching through
www.honda-tech.com www.team-integra.net www.honda-acura.net www.irnn.net and
www.g2ic.com even, i havent really ound any help. all i found was "cap it off" well, that doesnt erally work. hot ass coolant will not be a LONG TERM soluted by using a cap designed for a vaccum line.
after ranting about that, i decided to E-mail skunk2 myself and tel them how i felt. well after a longly written out e-mail to
sales@skunk2.com i felt alittle better and clicked send. i decided to take my IM to my shop and see if they can help me solve it tomarrow (in between working from 7-4 and 6-10) well, i go to check my e-mail about 30 min later and i see a "failure to deilver notice"
heres how it read"
