You can start to see how the true nature of this toy doesn't really fit comfortably anywhere. Mainland European production origin, but US-style packaging from immediate post pre-rub era with no large techspecs or typical European packaging traits.
1. This variant never made it to our side of the pond.
2. They weren't packaged in the standard fugly Euro style packaging of the day, so the KO packaging is almost dead on.
3. These KO's are made from the same presses as the original red-foot Prime. Same French molds = same toy.
4. You can get a reissue Prime in original colors easily. This is harder to find. Also, the reissue Primes in original colors have a nub on the front hub caps similar to the nub that is on the front hub caps of Ultra Magnus. These presses are the original nub-less rim Prime molds. If anything, this KO is more accurate to 1984 than the official re-issues from Takara.
You know what? :awais:
Monk, please put me down for another red-foot. :awais:I just convinced myself to get another one. I'll get the price from Andrew and Pay-Pal it to you later tonight.
Andrew, I won't sell it. I want two to keep. Also, I got that extra hammered set of tapes. Do you think anyone would want to trade for it?
