i just went throught that whole thing, the downpipe is about 1/2"-1" shorter on the gsr and the opposite on the ls. i just ended up getting some pacesetter headers and they bolted up just fine, for the value of the headers i would go with pacesetter. but it is ultimatly up to you. also i would recomend an aftermarket cat.
