See, this is the type of survey that really means something to people. Not the J.D. Powers initial quality rankings which ask what people think of their car after they've had it about a month. Ask me what I think about my car after I've had it 6 or 7 years and 140,000 miles. That's what I call usefull information.

JD Power more finds out what a customer's expectations are where a GM/Ford customer has much lower expectations of quality than a spoiled Honda/Toyota customer
Strategic Vision is bunk...that is the psuedo "how do you feel" about buying this car - meaning very little to nothing about the vehicle itself...to add to that the cars they choose as best bets 18 of the 20 were awarded to companies who paid SV to do the study!
You're best measure is resale value of a car where a 1998 accord is worth 4-5x more than a 1998 taurus or malibu...even a 1998 4 cyl accord coupe lx is worth more than a 1998 v8 mustang gt
