i got a d16y8 in a 96 honda civic i got it from the shop and they forgot to tighten the distributer cap down i have a light at the house but im not sure where to put the lines on the crank pulley...i lined the three marks on the crank up with the three points on the engine block it was waaaay advanced last night and it ran like a big dog after i set the time like this it was very sluggish at best keep in mind this engine has a cold air intake and 4-2-1 headers into a full catback it also has spark plug wires and ngk plugs help!! this thing is more of a slug than it usually is any thoughts or comments will be a huge help
