I put a Focal 6.5 speaker in my door, only had to use a 3/4 inch MDF mounting ring. I have a 3 1/4 and tweeter in kick panels. I went so far as to relocate my fuse box up under the dash so i could mount the speakers on the drivers side. I have issues
