I have got hold of a scrapped honda civic 1.4 1996 hatchback and was wondering if the gear box from this is the same as the one on my civic 1.5lsi hatch back same year in which the clutch has gone and possibly the gearbox too.

If it does fit will it change the ratio's and what would be the affect of this, more/less acceleration?
