Hey! Wrong forum!!! You have an integra motor in a 5th gen civic, not an Integra! :chuckles: Moderators? Move this? LOL!

It certainly sounds to me like a hydraulic problem or a broken clutch fork. Definitely get it checked out by someone that's not a random entity on the internet. We could all be iNsAnE for all you know.

I think what greenGSR was saying is to be prepared for the worst. To some people, swapping a tranny is something you do between drag passes; maybe not the case for most, but there are some people out there with skills. Maybe find one of those people near you to come and just take a look at it.

If you want to learn all the crazy clutch failures, buy a Mitsubishi. I've broken 2 masters and a slave, 3 clutch discs, a clutch release fork. 4 wheel bearings, 3 transmissions, 2 front axles, and the whole freakin' clutch pedal. All within 20k miles on one car. Maybe that ACT 2600lb pressure plate was a i bit much on my 8 year-old drivetrain? Nah. It's awesome! I wouldn't have it any other way. I highly recommend an ACT clutch if you have to replace it.
