Naw really tell her exactly what you told us. She can't work on the problems if she doesn't know they exist. Try to work it out.... maybe you could start off by asking her if there's anything she would like you to work on, then regardless of the answer tell her that you have some pointers for her too.
And try to spend more time apart.

It's either that or start all over again with a stranger and go through all the issues of a break up n' shit.
