racism didnt affect me in terms of genocide, slavery, or hate crimes. what it did was make me ashamed of my culture and roots, until i was a teenager when i met others who shared my experiences. im not asking for anyone's sympathy or special treatment, so i hope people dont reply with a "cry me a river" comment. anyway i dont have a secret vendetta against people of the same kind who made fun of me, or any other race. im a pretty laid back guy so i've learned to "roll with the punches" like TaekOne said. i dont play the race card or lose sleep at night over shit like this...but at the least, i'll say it's interesting to see what people's perspectives are.
