Wrong.. it is a form of laminate.
The laminate you are referring to is VINYL Laminate.
It's called a laminate because a the to layer is sheet of HARD SURFACE with wood imprint/design that's "laminated" onto a composite "wood" plank.
BTW, a 10 x 10 room should take you no more than 2 hrs. Make sure you stagger the planks or you'll end up with 1 straight line accross the floor.
