I know that ssautochrome suposedly sells parts that arnt up to par with the rest of the kits out there. I used to be on that band wagon too. Until about 8 months ago when one of my friends bought a kit from them for $900. He has been running a t3/t4 @ 10psi on his B18 for 8 months and has only had one real problem with it. The turbo blew up about a month after we installed it and he thought like everyone does, they sold me some crap. But upon further observation we realized that we didnt mount the drain line correctly. Which finally built up enough pressure to blow the seals out on the turbo. Plus they replaced the turbo for free. Other than that he hasnt had any problems with it. My advice, buy the ssauto kit (i think they are around 750 now)then if its that big of a deal to you turn around and sell the turbo, manifold, and intercooler. Then go buy a name brand intercooler, turbo, and manifold. Other than that the parts in the kit arnt really going to be any diffrent than what you get in a greddy or rev hard kit(i compared the ssauto wastegate with a real TiAL and couldnt find any major diffrences).. You will still come out alot cheaper than the 3000 for one of those kits. If you are dead set against ssauto then check out the vecco kit on ebay. Its about 1800 but comes with a real turbonetics turbo.
