Just keep in mind that your "new" car is over ten years old, so if you need to change the wheel bearings and shit, don't be upset at the car. Start off by checking the engine's compression. You might want to change the timing belt and water pump right off the bat. Also, the ignitor and coil as those usually fail after 10 years on Hondas. Then get the alignment checked and the tech can look for signs of frame tweakage at the same time. Hondas are pretty straight forward cars and easy to read, understand and fix, especially these 0BD1 ones. Good used parts for them are plentiful and cheap.
I repeat this a lot, but it's a good thought. My dad told me years ago that when buying a used car, expect to sink another $1500 into it. Keeping that in mind, I stay in good humor about my fleet.
