Durlast Gold comes with a 8 year warrenty, 3 free replacement. Alot of times the batteries we carry at autozone sit for months at the warehouse before they are shipped out to the stores. Even the optima batteries we sell sometimes go bad quickly just from sitting for so long. Your best bet is to go ahead and go back and have them test it. If anything just say here's what happend... i bought this a week ago and now it's having trouble starting.
They should give you a new battery. Every once in a while we sells duds, that's what the warrenty is for.... also... for the duralast gold they have a free jump start program anywhere in the U.S. ask for the card, there will be a number on there.. as long as you own a duralast gold... Someone will jump you for free.
