How much boost you looking to run? Honestly I've seen nothing even remotely impressive turbocharging the D17.

Unlike the D16Z6 or D16Y8, the D17A2 has VTEC-E which is an extremely conservative cam profile combined with other wonderful fuel sipping technology which makes for an absolutely terrible engine for performance.

If you really wanted results, I would pocket the cash you have aside for your turbo fund and save up for a K20A2 swap. It'll be faster than your D176A2 boosted project.
