96 Civic EX D16Y7

I bought the car with 160k on it last year with the same miss. I did a full tune-up including plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter, O2 sensor and it fixed the problem. Last week(200k) the car developed the same miss, only under a medium to heavy load but never misses at idle. I again changed the plugs, wires, cap and rotor but the miss is still there. The inside of the cap was dry and the plugs were a light tan with no visable wear. I have no CEL and the problem will disapear for a day and then return the next. It does seem to be getting more persistent. Temperature and moisture does not seem to affect it and I have run the tank low and refilled+fuel injection cleaner since the problem started.

Does anyone have any suggestions. I would figure that if a sensor was bad I would certainly have a CEL. I would also figure that if it was a fuel filter/injector issue the ecm would compensate and the plugs would be dark.(I think) If the timing was off I would have a consistent problem and not sporadic. This leaves the coil to contend with. How often do these fail, would this cause my issue?
