I test-flogged a used '04 5.7 litre 6spd over the holidays. I have to say I was impressed both with the chassis and the drivetrain. When the 6.0 litre cars depreciate into the mid-teens, I might just take the plunge. Coming from a Honda, there's something rather alluring about crusing at 85 mph with around 2K on the tach. h:

Of course, we all "know" that some version of the Camaro concept car will be coming to market soon. GM won't stay out of this resurgent niche market for long; the new Challenger and Mustang GT need competition.
