Co2 is faster filling and doesn't fluctuate as much as air does. If you have a compressor and reserve tank it can actually take up more space and rob power from the vehicle depending on how you set it up. The new thing though has been to run a compressor and use the tube cage as a storage tank for the air. This works out pretty good in most cases but then all it takes is one good roll to render the tank useless by kinking or splitting the cage due to the extra pressure. Most people do fine with that setup but it is a possibility. Single tank of Co2 costs about 10 bucks to fill and will last you months.
