Am I the only one that thinks the kid is out of line for wanting an honors English teacher, who has had a career for 20 years teaching, lose his job because he said a word this is synonomous with a greeting?

If the teacher loses his job, do you know how much crap the kids in that school are going to get away with since teachers will be reluctant to be bold and discipline them? Ok, the teacher was suspended for 10 days and loss of pay. Let it go and stop being such a butthurt little bitch. If someone calls you a name and you let it ruin life than it should be your problem. What I took from both sides of the story is that it wasn't even intented to be an insult or "name calling" but rather a retaliation for the student saying that word to the teacher originally.
