To all: It was doing the said symptoms before and after I replaced the clutch. After that, the local garage uninstalled and reinstalled the flywheel, disk, and pressure plate.

To AF: If the master cylinder was bad, wouldn't the clutch lines not be able to hold pressure. The garage also said the hydrolic system was working fine.

To guy who leaves his car in gear on jackstands: The flywheel is new.
