It's just like throwing a 93 d16z SOHC Vtec motor into a 93 DX Chassis..it's still consider a civic motor.. you just have to have all the emmissions hooked up though. A few of my buddies did it and it passed. one of my buddies car had a (Del Sol) b16 USDM obd1 swap into his 92 dx hatch and we got it smogged w/out having it taken to the state ref's for inspections. Another had a 94 LS integra chassis and threw in a 95 gsr swap w/ all emmissions and it passed as well w/out state ref invovled.

i have a b16 in a eg hatch. it is completely BAR'd (legal in cali). You still have to get it reffed
