I have exact same question about the exact same year accord... same situation.... side view mirror was struck and the glass/mirror popped right out.

I ordered a new peice of glass from Majestic Honda (Part number 76203-S4K-A41 Mirror Sub Assy., R) and have the exact same problem.

It looks like the new glass should pop right into the mirror housing put wasn't able to with my initial attempt.

The side mirror housing has a 4 sided round plug and two little white rounded ball joints, and the mirror glass has a socket for each of these to snap into, however when I apply force to pop the glass in the socket side in the mirror housing just moves around.

Is there a trick to this? Can someone scan the helms manual page on assembling/reassembling this part?

Another thing i noticed is each one of the sockets on the replacement glass peice has a key ring type circular metal spring that keeps the socket tight... do I need to remove these or prep these in anyway?
