If your friend has done swaps before he shouldnt have a problem doing this one. If you get an EX or Si harness off a 92-95 civic you wont have to run vtec wires, much easier that way IMO. As for the motor it will drop right in, and you can re-use your axles, and shiftlinkage too. And yes a clutch from a EX or Si will work just fine. All deries parts are Interchangable.
