I just bought a 93 Civic DX with a blown motor. I have been shopping around and I have found that the JDM D15B vtec engine (same as D16Z6) is in my price range. I belive that my car now has a US D15B non-vtec engine. I have a friend that has done several engine swaps but never one of these. Do you think he would be capable of doing a swap loke this? I was wondering if anything needs to be modified for this swap, or will it drop right in? Also what do I do about the vtec wiring? I know any 92-95 civic ex or si ECU will work, but could someone please post a pic of how to run the wires to the ecu? Should I have a profesional wire it? And if I don't wire the vtec right away, will the car still be drivable? And also will any 92-95 civic ex, or si clutch work with the d15b vtec engine? I am really in a hurry to get this done, so I will really appreciate it if some one could answer my questions. Thanks a lot!!!!!!!
