Hey Folks,

New to the forum and new to Hondas. My daughter just purchased a 2001 Civic with the 1.7 L (D17A) motor; she loves it....I maintain it!

What are my options for an aftermarket replacement for the OEM filter? After reeviewing this forum and searching for "oil filter", it's apparent the PLM filter is not the best to use. Will the PCX fit this motor? What filters (available from local O'rielly's or AutoZones) are recommended?
