I have a 94 LS and Im having the same problem I just spent $950 in the shop for all the tune up stuff and timming belt. Mine just shuts off from time to time but it allways starts back up. I just ordered a new distributor because the one I have is an aftermarket one not OEM and the repair shop told me that if the car continues to stall out that this is most likely the problem.
