I had Philips that lasted 15 years and longer. When I was in the hotel biz we would sell our tv's after they were 10 years old. We have a Sony in the living room and an RCA in the bedroom. We gave away a Philips 20" a few years ago that I bought from the hotel I left in SC in 1990, and it's still working today. True you can't hook a lot up to it, but it gives you a picture off the cable.
