It seems kind of low to me too.
That mpg is with mainly highway driving these days, about a 70 round trip to the office; but it's mixed with a little city too. And I drive 65-80.
No, I did not take off the EGR valve itself and clean it out. HOWEVER, I have purchased a gasket for it already, so I can clean it soon. Think that will make up whatever difference?
