This thread is full of BS. J30A VTEC kicks in at 3500, you can feel it very easily but hearing it is kinda hard. Indicator lights are quite stupid. if you're above 3500 RPMs, VTEC is actuated. That's all you wanted to know. Don't get drawn in. You can feel when VTEC is actuated, it just takes experience.
