Being able to afford gas doesn't necessarily mean that gas mileage isn't a concern or that I want to overlook gas mileage as a consideration. If I wanted a $30K+ car with "crappy" gas mileage, I'd just go buy an STi and be done with it, which I have considered. But I am somewhat practical and I do need both a RELIABLE and economical daily driver, in addtion to my secondary goal of finding something that is good for racing. Hence, that brings us back to the TSX, etc...
