No, you'd still use the LS or Type R CAI. On the OEM GSR manifold, the throttle body sits lower than the LS/Type R. Using an aftermarket manifold puts it in the same position as the LS/Type R.

LS or ITR. The Venom IM is pretty pricey, and not worth the money IMO.
