Replace EGR/Unclog Line
I have a 99 Honda Accord 4 Cyl. which recently failed the State of WA emissions test. I was told that my EGR valve was not functioning properly. I called a few shops and the price to repair is $300. A couple shops said that I may not need to replace the EGR but unclog the line. Can you tell me how difficult it is to unclog the line (show diagram if possible) or if it's best to just replace the EGR? If I should replace the EGR, how difficult is that? My car has been running fine no slow or hesitant start up or jerky ride. Please help! Thanks.
