apologies generally come later, after the fact. you gotta give them some time to realize the idiocy of their actions. when did the official apology to the jews/muslims for the spanish inquisition come? when did the vatican officially condemn acts of anti-semitism? when did the US issue an apology to its citizens of japanese ancestry that they put in internment camps during ww2? im pretty sure a majority of the muslim would really like to see this incident resolved in a peaceful manner. too bad their cause wont sell newspapers.

maybe christians just arent as caring/sensitive about their faith anymore? most of the attacks on christianity that we have seen have come from others christians/former christians.
