Which leads me to the question, can anyone think of a band that got
better after becoming popular?
it's sad and it seems like it's a fad thing....
but if you think about it... generally they are so awesome in the beginning because they have their own styles.... as they become more produced... they are required to "poppify" their sound and it becomes overplayed, overproduced, and overcrapped...
i think one of the only bands i like just as much if not more after a major record label picked em up was atreyu....i mean they went to the high school up the street from mine, i've gotten drunk w/ them... but they've gotten better with time... it's nice
