I've also got a Skunk2 cam gear. With proper adjustment it should give you some power gains. It took off two tenths so far on my quarter mile. So I'm guessing it works pretty well. Plus it has a six screws/bolts which decrease the chance of slippage.
I'm thinking about getting some pullies as well... just dunno if they are worth it.
hey where do u have your cam gear set? did u dyno it to find the right setting? i figure i could just try your setting to see if theres any difference
