Without any data its hard to tell. Did you do a compression test? I doubt you're ONLY running on 3 cylinders because the engine wouldn't run. Maybe not enough fuel is getting in, and not enough spark, causing a misfire. I recommend doing a full tune-up, and if that doesnt work, take it to somewhere where they can plug the sucker in and pull a diag code for ya.
