Sorry, haven't been on here for days. No, u don't have to take the dash apart. Just reach your hand under there to get it. If your hands prove to be too big, u can remove the cluster cover bezel thing(4 screws), then remove the display(another 4 screws), and the speedo cable will be in the back of the display.
