My best luck has been with Western Digital, but Segate and Maxtor aren't really BAD. But I just prefer WD. Given the choice, I'd choose WD.

I have several 9.1gb SCSI drives that are Segate, they are quite on the old side, so some going bad after 10 years or so is expected.
